His suffering amuses her.

If it sounds like she's making excuses to keep him around, yes, she is, but why? Hmmm....?

Meanwhile, everything she says is certainly reassuring for her, but not for him. I wouldn't feel happy about knowing I have death spores in me, would you?

She seems like a true pragmatist. I'm going to guess the reason she wants to keep him around involves the word "meat-shield" in some way.

@Hjels: Ha ha, meat shield! If there was a prize to win, you would be getting it.

She probably deems him harmless enough that he wouldn't be bad company either. Humphrey is really only good for one sided conversations.

that's a great reaction xD

"You got yourself a body full of death spores capable of wiping out an entire civilization in a span of a few mere weeks or so. But be cool, bro."

@ValorGuy: Yeah, man, no big deal! Calm down, geez!

She's either incredibly smart about this whole spore thing, or she's just desperate for company and is looking for excuses to keep him around.

She feels bad when she freaks out Humphrey. Magnus is a total stranger who poses no real threat, so he's just fun to mess with.

@Isidarth: Well, exactly! Magnus does give her some pretty good reactions.
